Vandan spent five years in the Senate working on agriculture, energy, environment, public lands, and disaster policy for Democratic Leader Schumer. During his time with the Leader, he closely worked on major pieces of legislation including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act. He also supported and eventually led the Leader’s agriculture, energy and environment appropriations work.

Vandan holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs.
