Communications Director

Emily has over a decade of experience in political communications, including issue advocacy, national and state campaigns, and a stint at MSNBC. Emily previously spent four years leading national communications for the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) where she was integral to the organization's groundbreaking campaign to pass the strongest climate bill in U.S. history, the Inflation Reduction Act, and oversaw communications strategy for LCV Victory Fund’s $100 million+ independent expenditure campaigns in the 2022 midterms and 2020 election cycle. Before LCV, Emily was the campaign press secretary to now-U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo during her successful 2018 re-election campaign for Rhode Island Governor. Emily's media relations work has led to thousands of clips including top-tier coverage in The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, and MSNBC, and Emily has been quoted in The Washington Post, Reuters, Fox News, and many Rhode Island media outlets.

Emily also worked at SKDK, the 2016 Hillary for America Campaign, MSNBC, 270 Strategies, the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee, and the 2012 and 2008 Obama for America Campaigns.

Emily holds a B.A. in Political Science from George Washington University.
